Since graduating from the first Interior Design degree program at Meredith College in 1989, I have honed my expertise in residential design, remodeling, and commercial office projects collaborating with customers across Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Wilmington and in between.

Embarking on this journey in 1990 with Furnishing Solutions on Glenwood Avenue, I helped transform beachfront homes and conceptualized innovative commercial office spaces in downtown Raleigh and Cary. My portfolio reflects my commitment to fulfilling my client’s vision while meeting project milestones and resources.

Along the way, I realized that managing several designers and running my company took me away from my passion and purpose. I chose to sell my successful retail design firm Furnishing Solutions and transition to a new consultancy DS Design - a full service interior design consultancy dedicated to building long trusting relationships while cultivating a spirit of service in my community.

My two beautiful sons, Connor and Zachary, keep me focused on life’s priorities.
